The new £4.7m roundabout in Brough
Constructed by East Riding Council, is designed to improve the capacity of the junction by around 25% and reduce frustrating traffic queues and delays, especially during rush hours.
Gardham Wold Landscapes constructed all soft landscaping to the site in Brough. This involved seeding with specified speciality seed - on embanked areas this was applied with Hydroseeding in order to achieve a successful application and coverage. Around the top of the flood alleviation pond and the opposite side of the site, Gardham Wold laid GP Flex matting and oversewed, in order for access to be gained to relevant service areas. Woodland planting was carried out across the site to complete. Gardham Wold Landscapes also secured a 5 year maintenance plan on the site, ensuring the seed and plants are cared for and thrive.
